Radiology

The Radiology Department at KIH is a 24-hour full-service and is highly specialized that strives to meet all patients' needs in diagnostic imaging through Ultrasound, X-ray, CT scan and Mammography.
The most important equipment, facilities and procedures available at the department include:

  • Computed Tomography: For CT scan of all areas of the body.
  • Mammography: For screening and early detection of breast cancer. Also, breast ultrasonography, biopsy and stereotactic localization are available.
  • Ultrasonography: State-of-the-art ultrasound machines including 3D/4D ultrasound, Doppler studies and all ultrasound guided procedures.
  • Bone densitometry: 2 DXA BMD machines for early detection of osteoporosis.
  • Plain and Contrast X-Ray Examinations: Plain radiography and fluoroscopy machines covering the full range of plain radiography and contrast studies of all systems.
