Dr. Khalid Idriss Hospital is working strictly according to the standards set by the Ministry of Health (MOH) and the Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI). These standards are guided by existing policies and procedures which are the result of collaborative efforts based on the knowledge and expertise of our staff.

KIH passed the National Standards in Quality awarded by CBAHI last February 2012. This accreditation has been our living testament and serves as our guiding principle in order to accurately assess our level of performance according to the established standards and to implement ways to continuously improve our healthcare system encompassing the CBAHI objectives of:

  1. Ensuring the quality healthcare through the application of quality concepts;
  2. Fostering a culture of patient safety and minimize the risk of medical errors;
  3. Achieving optimum organizational results with available resources; and
  4. Increasing accountability to patients and identified stakeholders.

The pursuit in achieving these goals has been the prime motivation of KIH to improve its Patient Care and Quality Management System thus, exceeding customers’ expectations at all times.
